Welcome to the community. It would seem that the gas should be about over by now. Have you tried taking some gas-x?
So it's only been a week since I had laparoscopic surgery to remove a tumor on my right ovary and I'm getting just a little depressed with this gas I'm only 23 and school is about to start back and I'm use to being on the go and I'm wandering how long this gas wii last??
Many women with endometriosis do complain of bloating. But if you did not have bloating before surgery, then it may be a good idea to have it investigated.
Thank you for your reply.
Maybe I should book a doctors appointment then! I have been very lightly bleeding for probably over a month now however this is something that is normal to me as I have always had trouble with my periods since I started, and I also have the implant which can cause long periods of light bleeding/irregular bleeding.
My surgeon did find traces of endometriosis when I had my surgery however I'm not sure if bloating is a symptom of this.
Welcome to the community. This does not sound normal. I think a trip to the doctor is warranted, either the surgeon or your primary care doctor if you have one. An ultrasound or MRI may reveal the cause of the bloating. It sounds like you do not have any other symptoms - no pain, bladder or bowel issues, menstrual irregularities, etc.?
