Stitches not disolving

Two weeks ago I had an ovarian cyst removed.  All the stitches have come out except for the bellybuttom ones.  The problem is, that it is getting red and sore, I tried to pull them out but they are not budging.  Has anyone else had something like this happen to them, and what did you do.

You may have to call your doctor tomorrow and have them remove the last few stitches.  Sometimes they are just stubborn and need a little help coming out.  It sounds like they may be getting infected because of the redness and pain.  Is there any kind of discharge coming from the incision?  You want to get this taken care of as soon as possible so you don't end up with a bad infection.  Give you doc a call.  Let us know how things go.
