Hi there.  Was there any information in the report as to what kind of cyst they think it is?  That can determine a lot of how it is treated but regardless if it is not resolving on its own or is getting larger or causing a lot of pain it will likely be removed via laporascopic surgery.

Hi Vkc,

I am sorry to hear about your sister. You have posted on the Pain Management Forum. We offer information and support regarding chronic pain. Although you are always welcome here I think that you may find better information on another forum. Our moderators will be better able to direct this post to a more appropriate forum.

I am not a physician nor an expert. In my opinion your sister may require surgery. Your physician will have the best advice for you.

Good luck to you and your sister. She is fortunate to have a concerned sibling.

Peace,
Tuck
