could this cancer?

My Ct results due to ovarian pain are as follows.  Ovarian cyst ruptured and fluid is prescent.  Also a 1.3cm lesion was found.  I am having a ultrasound on Monday, per my Ob doctor.  What does it mean to have a lesion?  Does that mean it could be cancer.  What will happen next?  Thank's in advance for you help.

Agree with Trudie.. My doctor sometimes even added the dreaded word "tumor" into the mix.. All in one visit mind you, so don't worry.  Check out the top right of this page "Health Pages" where you will find all sorts of info regarding cysts..Keep us posted

Doctors will often intermingle the terms lesion, cyst, mass, etc.  A transvaginal ultrasound will give a better view.  The 1.3 cm lesion is quite small and hopefully is just a normal ovulation cyst.  Good luck.
