Hello and welcome to MH. Yes, I agree with Tuck, your symptoms sound like that of Lymes Disease. I would definitly have that checked out. Pain can be so dibilitating, it finally made it impossible for me to drive School Bus for the 70+ kids I drove each day.

Hang in there and make an appt. as soon as possible. Have the Doc do a full blood work-up.

Take care, Mollyrae

Hello Zhonnell,

Welcome to MedHelp. I am glad you found us at the Pain Management Forum. I am so sorry you are having these pain problems, especially since they are effecting your career. And it is so important that we have our teachers at 100%. Bless you for caring for our children.

Obviously my first concern is your complaint of chest pain. This should never be taken lightly or ignored. As Sandee said even though you are young this needs to be evaluated asap.

Have you been in any area where you could have gotten a deer tic bite? You symptoms sound similar to Lyme's Disease BUT your pain issues can be related to so many other conditions.

Have you been out of the country this summer or been close to some one that has been? As said earlier there are just so many things this could be.

It could be a nasty viral condition that is hanging on for one reason or another. And with your exposure to so many small tykes could you have picked up something from them that they were able to shake off in a few days?

It goes without saying that you must make an appointment with your PCP for a complete work up to evaluate your pain issues. We can all make guesses but only he/she can get to the bottom of your medical concerns.

Please keep in touch and let us know how you are doing. I'll look forward to updates on your progress. Best of luck to you. And please take care,  Tuck

Hi:)
Even at your young age any chest pains should be checked out medically soon as possible.
There are many reasons you could be having the symptoms your describing, have you injured yourself recently?
Are you easily fatigued and when you say joint pain is the pain all over or just in certain joints?
Your lower back pain could be from straining it or what I call over usage or you could have some disc that has problems as well.
I urge you to go to your Dr as soon as you can as I see where this can interfere with your work greatly.
Can you give me a little more details like were you injured and is the pain constant and the joint pain , is it in one place or everywhere. Also have you had any other illness' or been in any accidents.
I will be glad to help all I can:)
Are you taking anything for the pain? I would suggest an anti inflammatory and ice or heat and hot baths and also using some menthol rubs or spray like ben gay.
Please help me with a little more information and I will get back to you:)
