Dr being unfair

My Dr of five years just now started making me wait 31 days for my refill. I get a 30 day supply and now I have to wait till 31 days. When I ask him to fill on the 30 day mark he says I’m asking for it early. I am consistent with my refills and he used to fill on the 29 day but now he refuses then says to find a new Dr if I’m not happy. Would it be wrong if I email his boss as I can’t go with out my meds

Emailing his boss is likely to get you dismissed-

I have not asked for them early but he is doing it on purpose and not listening to me. Nurse practitioner that can prescribe meds. I was just saying email his boss so that I can be heard. I mean yes I can get my refill on 31 days out but who knows when the pharmacy fills my rx and then I have work and have to scramble then I miss a dose of my medication and my pain kicks in and I don’t feel good. It’s unreasonable as he says he will refill on the 11th of every month because he thinks that’s 30 days each month when it’s not.  He’s not consistent. He is being unprofessional to me and I feel like he isn’t treating me as a person anymore. He’s pushing me out. I just thought if I sent an email stating that I am not asking for them early just to get my refill on the 30 days of everymonth I guess I can make sure I put one aside for the 31st day but I shouldn’t have to do that. I also feel I shouldn’t have to tiptoe or be scared to ask them to be reasonable with my refill. In fear of them just dropping me

One suggestion/solution may be to simply ask for a 28 day supply- creating a standard every 4 week refill appt - same day of the week on a rotating 4 week time schedule. That would avoid the 30/31 day conflict with monthly fills- you new refill would be every 4th week.

You should have enough meds on a 30 day supply to get you through the end of day 30- then pick up your new prescriptions as soon as the pharmacy is open on the 31st day.
If you were picking up/filling on day 29 before- that left with you with two days of meds from each prescription you filled on day 29- so in your drs mind and by your insurance company’s perspective- you should have a bit of a back up supply on hand- hence only allowing you to pick up new meds on day 31.

Can they just stop prescribing a med if you have been on them for over 15 years?
Yes- if they suspect you are misusing them-, failing to follow practice policies, filling early- they can simply dismiss you from their care.
