Percocet Withdrawal

My kidney doctor has me on Percocet 5mg and I only have 1 left, i put a call into his office and I really think I have a problem with them (addiction), should I tell him this so that he can help ween me off them or just deal with the withdrawal symptoms I am already going through?

Please someone let me know, because if I have to explain this too him, I will have to call them back before they close!!!!  I only have one left and I don't want to use it unless I really need it, not just to push away the withdrawal symptoms.

But I am already getting the withdrawal symptoms!!!!

How much were you taking per day. How long. It really depends. Withdrawl is not going to kill you. It can get pretty uncomfortable, but usually it has a lot to do with anxiety. You used the drugs for legitimate pain. A lot of the struggle of withdrawl is the helpless feeling of being a drug addict. You do not fall into that category. I would talk to the doctor tho. He put you on the medication. He is responsible for helping you get off it if you have become dependent.
