Weekend

Just wanted to say hello, I've been working this whole weekend so I havent' had much time to be on the board.  Friday I was playing phone tag with my pain management doctor since I got the letter from my psychiatrist saying I'm of sound mind to have the stimulator put in me.  The nurse said it could take months for my insurance company to put in, so we just continue the epidural and medication therapy.  I definitely am going to talk to the doctor about his prescription and it only lasting 22 days instead of the 30 days, I'm going to see if he will write it to last  the 30 days, it will be easier on everyone, especially me and the pharmacy.  I'm hoping everyone else is doing well, it's a little quiet on the board compared to last week, so I hope everyone is doing ok.

I'm sorry you've had to work all weekend.  My DH has too and it hasn't really felt like a weekend at all.  We missed you at the pajama party last night but hopefully you didn't make it because you were sleeping!  
The stimulator sounds really interesting. I can't wait to hear how it goes.  I hope the doctor puts you on a regular 28-30 day script.  That is pretty weird that he does 22, but maybe that is just the way that office is?

Hi! We have missed you this weekend. I so hope the stimulator gives you the relief you need .I don't know much about them so when you get it I hope you will let us know how good it works for you,Yes I would definitely talk to my Dr about your meds .You have  enough to worry about without having to worry about your meds too, And as Sherry said I hope you can relax some after working all weekend .Take care  Melissa

I'm SOOO glad that y ou called your PM Dr. to let them know that you have the letter clearing you for the Stimulator!!

It's NICE to know that you are of sound mind!! I know that WHEN that is approved it will give you MUCH DESERVED Pain relief.

So sorry that you are having to work these INCREDIBLY long hours. I hope that it hasn't caused your pain to increase too much!!
