good osteopath in San Diego? Good pain doc too?

Does anyone live in San Diego? If so, do you know a good Osteopathic doctor and /or a good pain doctor?
Any good rehab centers or how to get out of muscle weakness from sitting too much due to pain and back injury?

Hi Tuck,
thanks for the warning. I am surprised though that someone can't give an opinion about a good doctor as everyone on this site has no medical background ,(except the doctors sometimes answer) only experiences and they may or may not be right about diagnosis and treatment. So, I don't really see the difference. Can one ask whether they know a good rehab center that may have good doctors? When I called the Cleveland Clinic and the NCI they gave me good hospitals that they recommend. Anyway, I may have found a physiciatrist that I may go to. Not sure yet, but I do need to get de-atrophied. I pulled another muscle last night just turning over the wrong way. Lots of pain today. I am disappointed as I was walking more last week and stretching better. I can't seem to get over the hump to strenthening. Does SI joint have low pain some days and high pain other days? That is how mine is if I have SI joint dysfunction. I don't know if it is my SI going in  and out causing good and bad days or if it is a muscle pull.  Well, hope you are ok today.

Hi Mkh9,

I don't leave any where near you state. It is not the focus of this forum to recommend a specific doctor or clinic. There are obviously some good reasons behind that unwritten guideline. However I hope you will be successful in locating a physician that is right for you.

It's nice to see that others also value a good Osteopathic Physician. I was surprised to learn that many ppl see them as less than a MD when they are equal to. My PCP is an Internal Medicine DO. I would be lost without her.

Usually teaching hospitals offer great rehab centers. They seem to be on the cutting edge of medical practice. At least in my state that is true.
