Hello Everyone

Hello everyone.  I just wanted to check on everyone to see how their pain is doing this week.  I would love to get to know each and every one of you.  Please don't be shy.  I don't bite...lol (well only sometimes).  Feel free to pm me or post a message in the group.

My pain has been a little annoying the past week.  We are going to pick out our new home next week and are very excited.  It helps to try to keep the mind occupied so the pain doesn't drive you nuts.

Good morning everyone :)  

My pain levels have maintained around a 3-4 since August now (thank goodness) after being a constant 6-7 from December to July.  It didn't even occur to me how much the nerve blocks and epidural injections helped until I realized I wasn't having that fluctuation of pain anymore about a month later.  I still have constant leg/knee/ankle issues and have scheduled a microdiskectomy/laminectomy for December 15th.  I did notice yesterday that some of my hip irritation is coming back and am praying that the injections aren't wearing off - although I have been more active the last two weeks than usual.  I so count myself lucky that I am able to manage my pain so much better than most people with just tramadol but I also realize that my decision to have surgery is more because of mechanical issues and fear of permanent nerve damage than just for pain control.

Thanksf or asking. I have had one of the worst pain weeks ever. Pain levels at 9-10 but my SIJ and hip were both "out." I am better today at a 6-7. I should better even better by tomorrow.

This weeks seems to have been a nasty pain week for everyone I have talked to. First I thought it was our weather in WI but it seems almost nation-wide. What do you attribute that to Dr Patty?

Hi, Thanks for the kind offer to ask me about my pain levels.
The last week or so I have been hurting very badly and sick on top of that. I had a bad virus and could not keep anything down much less my meds so I was very ill and in alot of pain.
The past couple days have been so much better, I am wondering if the pain was so bad that any thing less is much better but I do know my pain levels are much less than they were. I was at a 9-10 and now I am at about 4-5 so much better.

My pain is somewhat better than it has been this past week. I would love to hear about you new home. You'll have to send me a pm and tell me all about it. I will tell you about myself too....Have a nice eve. My poor fingers are very tired now.....
