Please help me HOT OIL jumped on my 1 year old sons EYE!

please help me hot oil jumped on my sons eye, his eye was red and he couldnt open it and i put ice on it and it turned white and normal but i see that a small piece of comea( i m not sure is thats the name of the first layer of the eye) on his eye is missing and time to time his eye tears, Please help me! thanks.

To be certain there is no damage I think a trip to the ER is in order...they will know what to do the sooner the better , let us know how he is doing ....
