Tics in 3 year old boy

My son just turned three. For the past like six months he has been developing various tics. It started with a little sound he'd make (uh) but that went away...he was rubbing his mouth with his hand and he's make a kissing sound (CONSTANTLY) but that stopped. Now he is constantly clearing his throat...he does a motorboat sound with his lips...this past week he developed a vocal tic (a high-pitched whoooo). He is constantly doing them and when I ask him why he says "I don't know I like to" however I know that it is involuntary because if we ask him to stop he says he can't and I can see that he really can't...and when he is sleeping at night he does not make a single sound. Its really starting to worry me...we have a doctor's appointment in a week and a half but I was just wondering if anyone ever dealt with something like this and what it might be?

I think you should get it checked on, but many children do things like eye blinking when it gets attention, Try ignoring the issue when he does it, say nothing and see after a few days if is continues .
