head pain

My daughter has been experiencing head pain around her ear, above and behind and the pain radiats to her lower jaw ... she noticed this 2 days ago and the only thing she recalls that can have an effect on her was that she wore ear phones in music class and wears earrings..but I don't know if this contributes to the pain or caused it.. I gave her tylenol yesterday and it didn't help so today I tried Excedrin....What can be causing this pain?

Does she have the music turned up loud with her earphones and how many hours each day is she listening to music?
