Confused

I rushed my 5 yr old son to our family doctor with symtoms of stomach pain so bad he couldn't even walk slight fever after checking him our doctor was certain it was his appendix and sent us to the surgoen. The surgoen tried to convince us that it was food posioning so she admitted him into the hospial for observation over night. They took blood which he had an elevated white blood count they put him on antibiotics. During the night he had severe pain, shakes and a fever. At seven the next morning the surgoen came in and said she was now convinced it was his appendix so rushed him into surgery. After surgery she gave me report and report that everything went good. When let back to recovery to see him the anesthesiologist said that his appendix had rupured and was a bit surprised that the surgoen had not told me. When the nurses from surgery gave report to the attending nurses on his floor they said his appendix had ruptured. The surgoen denied that his appendix had ruptured to our family doctor she told him that there was only a little pus coming out it. Is there a difference in a ruptured appendix and just pus coming out. They kept him on antiboitics for two days following the surgery and he kept an elevated fever.

Hummm it sounds like there is a difference but I do not know I think it may be good to ask your doctor to find out exactly what the findings were after the surgery .Someone must know it has to be written down on a Surgeons report surely after the op. ..
