My son was recently diagnosed with a laryngeal cleft. He's never had pnemonia nor broncitous and is not prone to colds. Is it possible that the diagnosis is correct. One Dr. said the surgery is done and he can go home the next day while the second that I went to said he must be intubated for 10 days. Whom should I believe or should I just forget about the cleft since he's so healthy? (He was born with a te fistula which was successfully repaired 2 years ago.)
