Am I pregnant.. Or is it just in my head?

To start off.. my Hubby and I are kind of trying for a baby (not on any BC).. So would be good news if I was :)
I have been off the pill for almost a year now. Usually my periods are on a 26-27 day cycle, 5-7 days (at least 3 heavy days) lots of symptoms (back ache, sore breasts, major cramping, bloating etc.)
My last period was expected and came on June 23rd (at 4am awoke with bad cramps), cramps lasted all day, but just had brown discharge, on the 24th, more brown, maybe a smidge of red once. not heavy at all. (prob. lightest Iv ever had if it was a real period!)
By the end of the 24th, it was gone.
I think the thing that gets me most thinking of pregnancy, is the lack of period symptoms! All I had was cramps, and until the 23rd, I thought it wasnt going to come at all.
We are obviously having unprotected sex, time of intercourse and ovulation match up.
I am just confused as to what that 2 day period was, and the more I think about it the more it makes me nervous.
scared to take a test for the 'negative', cause i do have the tendency to get in my own head and over think everything.
As far as symptoms now, headaches, tired as heck.. a bit light headed, really yellow urine  and I have been having crazy dreams that wake me up in the middle of the night.. (not sure if thats even a sign of pregnancy..)
Any one have any input/similar experiences?
and FYI for everyone whos going to say this.. I am going to test this week. Just wanted some opinions until I can.

im going through this as well...well there is a slight difference my period is never regular and i haven't had one since may...i have however had a clear discharge with whet im guessing was blood?!? at the beginning of june and i have been have the following symptoms for the last month and a half : Major  Fatigue, Nausea (no vomiting), frequent urination, really bad Mood swings (one minute im as happy as can be and the next im crying because i cant find my keys, or yelling at my hubby for something stupid like not getting the mail), headaches, back pain, Dizziness, and the one that really sticks out is have been craving chocolate i use to HATE it and now i seem to want it all the time. i have taken 3 test and they all say negative but i cant think of anything else it could be unless im going crazy and its all in my head...any advise?? i know i should go get a blood test done and i will im just wondering if it could be something else?

Some women spot when the fertilized egg implants, most women don't, some do, and it's usually brown/pink discharge. I had pretty heavy period like cramps during my implantation, so its possible. A HPT should be positive 3-5 days after unprotected sex, so anytime would be good! Good luck hun!
