opinions please

my husband and i have been ttc since november and havent had any success. my last period was feb.19th and lasted till the 25th i believe. i am not expecting my period till around the 17th or 18th of this month...however today is the 8th of march and i am having brown/pinkish discharge that is light (not enough to fill up a pad).i have no symptoms to make reason to believe it may be my period. like usual i have sore breasts around 4 or 5 days before i start it. could this be implantation bleeding?

Yes, it could still be too early to test. Give it until the time you are actually due to have your period and retest then. But, it does sound like it could be implantation bleeding! I wish you the best and hope it is a sticky bean. In the meantime I know this must be driving you crazy...try to have patience.

I took a hpt and it was negative, was that too early to test
