HCG LEVEL 3

Hi, My doctors office considers a hcg level of 3 or higher pregnant. Ok here is the deal. I ovulated 6 days ago. ANd today I went in for a HCG level and it was a 3. Nurse said I am pregnant but just implanted. Have you had a low level of hcg of 3 at 6dpo? I had a miscarriage a few months back. And my hcg level went to 0 and I always thaught a hcg level had to be 5 or higher to be pregnant, but according to my doctors office its 3 or higher. HELP

Jojo0329...Did your level 3 hcg turn out to be a pregnancy??? I just got told today (11dpo) that my level is a 3 too. So I'm curious how yours turned out. I THINK, just from my temps, that I just implanted yesterday so I'm hoping it was just too early, but I know the nurse said me chances aren't good. Please share your experience. Thank you!

Most people implant between 6-12dpo I think so it would be too early to get an accurate result, even with a blood test. I would wait until at least 12dpo and go for another test. Good luck!! And I thought anything above a level 5 was positive as well.

Universally, yes your hCG should be 5 or higher. I'm kinda curious why you had blood work done this early though. Usually it's done at 14 DPO to avoid confusion like this. Wait a few days and go back. If your levels are the same (or lower) you know you're not pregnant. If they raise, you know you are.
