Am I pregnant or just late

I’m 16 days late on my period. My last actual period was February 21st 2018. Since then I’ve had headaches, backaches, nausea, cramps and watery discharge as well as some little specs of white discharge. I’ve had unprotected sex and took two pregnancy test on March 29 and again on April 2 2018 and both said negative. Please help!

Sweetie, you do not sound pregnant.  I know you are very late now but being really late means you are having a long cycle sometimes and has nothing to do with pregnancy.  You mention your history of the HCG problem and that in your previous pregnancy you did not get positive tests.  Do you have an ob/gyn?  What about whomever you saw for your last pregnancy?  It's time to establish with a regular ob/gyn if you don't have one (women should be seen annually anyway).  A discussion with a regular doctor (not hospital staff like the ER) is important here.  They will do a few things---  if your doctor that treated you obstentrically  with your last pregnancy may do further evaluation to rule out pregnancy (ultrasound to see if there is a sac) and if not, can run blood work that will show other things such as your hormones in general and how your thyroid is functioning.  Even if it was fine 2 to 3 months ago, it may not be fine now (talking about hormone levels and thyroid function).  So, I would call your ob/gyn and set up a full examination to go over all of this.  They HAVE to have some input here if you previously didn't register HCG enough to get a positive test.  Our body CAN trick us and especially when we WANT to be pregnant.  But you need help from a doctor that can dig deeper.  No one here is going to be able to solve that for you.  Let me know when you get that doctor's appointment set up!

Home pregnancy tests when used correctly and read in the right time frame are very accurate. So, you probably aren't pregnant.  When was the last time you had unprotected sex?  You can normally get an accurate result 2.5 weeks after that.  Periods can just be late. Illness, stress, changes in routine, weight gain or loss, etc. can all cause a late period.  And we will still have PMS at the regular time though (so for longer due to the late period).  Isn't that awesome?  (LOL< I know it's not).  So, if you tested in the right time period, using the test correctly, I would not suspect pregnancy.  good luck

It’s been a lot of times I’ve had it unprotected so yes I would suspect pregnancy due to that fact. Lol I texted March 29 and again April 2 maybe I tested too soon but from what I been reading and hearing sometimes the hcg levels don’t always show up on a pregnancy test it didn’t for my daughter lol but thanks for your input
Most of the time, HCG levels do show up.  It's a rare person that it doesn't.  If you have a history of being the rare person that doesn't trigger a positive test when you'd be far enough along to get one through urine test, then you'll need to see your doctor for blood work and evaluation.  If it has been three weeks since the last time you had unprotected sex, then you'd either not be pregnant or the test isn't picking up HCG again.  If you aren't pregnant, talk to your doctor about why the long cycle.  I had this with thyroid issues (it was working slowly).  Are you trying to get pregnant (thus having unprotected sex)?
Yes I am trying to conceive my second child. I’ve been also experiencing headaches, nausea, watery and white discharge, cramps and feeling that my boobs are heavier. I’ve had sex 3 times since my last pregnancy test which was April 2, then last week went to the hospital for cramping and they tested me again by urine and still negative.  I have had blood work about 2 or 3 months ago and it said my thyroid was fine. So idk what’s going on?
