I texted negative but missed my period

2 months ago I started taking combination oral pills contraceptive but stopped, I had a breakthrough bleeding 2weeks after I stopped,then I had unprotected sex on the 5th July and started bleeding on the 9th it was normal but lasted 2days on the 12 July I took a home pregnancy text and result was negative. I have a very irregular period but this month of August my period hasn't yet come,can I be pregnant or it's just hormones. Apart from sore nipples I don't have any signs of pregnancy.please help

Well, you are starting and stopping birth control so your hormones are adjusting to this.  Being late, irregular, etc. is normal.  Also things like stress, changes in routine, weight gain or loss, illness, etc. can cause us to be late.  I'm guessing you are just late and the other symptoms are hormonally related but not pregnancy related.  Pregnancy tests are pretty accurate.  You can take another one now but if it too is negative, you aren't pregnant. good luck
