I wouldn't be too concerned.. It wasn't u protected as she is on birth control. Its about 98% effective. All this sounds like a period. It could have been light for any number of reasons... Has she been on them long? Hot flashes and nausea are common for a period.
I feel since you posted this and not her that you are causing unnecessary worry. Trust me.. as a woman she is more worried or concerned than you. Take a chill pill, wait it out, and be supportive.
Probably stress and comfort eating! Think of all the undue pressure you are placing on her. Anxiety can affect period and flow. Plus maybe a lot of what she is feeling or experiencing is just normal, but you are noticing more as over analyising it all.
Thanks for the responses.
Here's an update:
She said that she has white discharge twice, a little morning sickness without vomiting, looking at food sometimes makes her feel sick, worst cramps than her period, hot and cold flashes, boobs are more sore, more ache, hair shinier and thicker, more lower back pain. She also said she feels more moodiness. She also used to love oatmeal and the last few days she can't eat it. I extremely dislike oatmeal.
We are also are thinking now that it was spotting that she had and not her period. The spotting went from brown to light red (maybe pink) then back to brown maybe for a day or two. She isn't really sure. She thought it was her period.
The doctor said it could hormones in balance.
She took 5 tests through the week and all negative. One at the doctors office was negative.
They did a blood test.
If it comes back negative what could be going on in her body?
If it not pregnancy what could it be?
Any advice or experiences?
Hot flashes could be any change in hormones. When I was on the pill I used to get them as well which would explain her warm belly. Have her wait a week and take another test. If it's negative she isn't pregnant. She's on the pill which is very effective. With out any form of birthday control there is only a 20% chance of pregnancy. I think you guys are fine but give it a week and test again just to ease your minds.
