Pregnancy 18-24

Hi! I'm 8 days late on my period. The past 7 days I have been extremely bloated and when I woke up this morning I noticed the bloating has gone down some. I have been tired, back hurts, feeling sick, and also shortness of breath. I took a test the 5th day of my missed period and it wa positive with a faint pink line but was visible to see. The next day I took another test and came out blank. Now I am just going to keep on waiting but I need help on what experts in this area know what is best. I have always started my period on the 14th of each month. Now I'm 8 days late. Please help!?

I've heard this could be normal in your first weeks,  I'm not sure but I think it's called implantation bleeding (?) . Have you noticed your breasts to be tender or sore?

Thanks ladies! Now a I have been at work I used the reatroom a few times and noticed when I wipe there were blood stains. Light pink and not thick and also when I use the restroom there is light drops of blood. What is that? In so nervous because my fiancé and I have been trying to conceive for a few months and I don't want to get my hopes up even tho I am 8 days late

With every pregnancy for me (my 5th one but 4th baby) it was different. I would feel bloted for weeks but that was with my son but with my now 3 girls I felt bloted off n on for the first couple of weeks. You can test again tomorrow if you wanted to but with your first morning urine is the best time because its concentrated.

From personal the bloating can continue on and off during the first trimester.  As far as testing try another tomorrow with your first morning urine,  it's supposed to have a more accurate reading. If still unsure find a family planning clinic or with your Dr. I've never had a + hpt, only thru a Dr's office (wierd).

I'm sorry if I'm asking you all these questions but I'm just new at this. How long should I wait again to take another test? How long did the bloating go on and off for?

When I first found out I was bloated for days then went down and then bloated again..
I never got it checked out but it just died down, I just put it down to my body shifting about. Because it's amazing whats going on! But iv had a scan and things and there was nothing wrong so I really wouldn't worry to much about it, your body will be having to adapt to so much change x

Thanks so much for all the advise! I'm just worried at the fact that the pay 7 days I was extremely bloated and now today when I woke up the bloating went down. What does that mean?

When I was a few days late my line was very faint as I took another it got darker, it's best to take the test first thing in the morning thats when your hormones are at their peak and you've also not been drinking so it's less diluted :)

If there was a faint line on the first then the next one blank then I would go with the first test because the second test could be an error test. So I would retest or go to doctors office and have them confirm.

If u got a positive then a negative try another one the negt one may be defective.  I had a faint test  also bt as long as u see two lines its considered positive.  Just try one more they also have one tht can tell u how many wks u r if u are pregnant

I would say that you should go get tested at your doctor's office. It sounds to me like you might be!
