I am 5 weeks 3 days pregnant and my friend just found out shes 4 weeks 2 days pregnant (give or take) we are both excited to go through this together.. but she is scared of passing her baby. She found out she has chlamydia, doctor prescribed her pills but shes been having a hard time taking them. I was there the day we forced it down. It didnt reach half way till it came back up:( she called the doctor abd hes sending another pill, we tried crushing it in ice cream, crushing it in juice. Nothjng seems to work, what do you think her chances of loosing this baby are:(? Help please.

btw as funny as this sounds they do make antibiotics in a liquid form but usually for children. They are lower dosage and she would have to ask the doctor about them.

you are also more and likely to delivery early. id speak to your obgyn because untreated chlamydia can lead to other things and shouldn't be left untreated.

If the chlamydia is clear baby ans mom should be ok. However if the chlamydia is not clear more likely she will be havjng a c section and as soon the baby is born might be tested n receive antibiotics.
