Not everyone ovulates each month. There are some ladies that don't ovulate and that's why they are put on clomid- to induce ovulation.

Hey kitkat, just to kind of clarify what I meant.  I know that everyone ovulates at different times, and I also know that even if you don't have a regular period, you still ovulate every month, it is just harder to know when.  The reason I said above about the expected dates, is because she is claiming she is late, therefore it would put her on that 28 day cycle.  Didn't want to mislead anyone with false information.   But thank you for clarifying that!!!!!

I would take a home pregnancy test with first morning urine since you're already late.

I just want to correct the information above though, we don't all ovulate 14 days after our period. We get our period AFTER ovulation. Ovulation determines your period - and the 14 day thing is just an average date of ovulation if you have a 28 day cycle. This is obviously not true for everyone and people have a wide range in cycle lengths. We ovulate around mid cycle.

Since you are now 3 days past due, i would suggest taking a HPT in the morning to see for sure.  Keep in mind that you usually ovulate 14 days after your period starts.  Your fertile days would have been around the 28th and 29th.... do you know what day you had sex on as sperm can live up to five days.
