You should speak with your doctor about your irregular cycles then, my doctor told me if I was still having irregular cycles my medication wasn't working properly. Maybe there's something they can get you on to regulate them

Thyroid issues cause MANY of the symptoms you've said, I have thyroid issues as well, is it being treated? If not, you need to before you even try to get pregnant, thyroid out of control can cause miscarriage. My doctor monitored my levels for 3-4 months before he gave me the ok to get pregnant. Also, if you're rarely having a period, it's likely you're rarely ovulating, which makes it very difficult to get pregnant.

Well I have some thyroid issues and my periods rarely come at all and I have sexually active for least 6 months with my husband. I took a home pregnancy test and it came out negative but I have a gut feeling that I am pregnant but I don't really know for sure.

We need more info to even try to help - when was your LMP, what's your cycle days, when were you sexually active, etc etc. Your symptoms really mean nothing, many things can cause them.

If your late for your period you can test anytime, symptoms can be caused by anything, it's not a good indicator of pregnancy, so take a test, good luck!
