I think my water just broke!

Been feeling crampy and sore all day and just gushed fluid but I'm not sure if I peed myself... I called in and they said come get checked out, so I'm heading into l& d now. I'm half hoping it's time half hoping it's not. I'm 38 weeks so if baby is ready I'm ready but aaaahhh I feel so unprepared.

They monitored me for half an hour, only had one major contraction but a whole bunch of tiny ones.  The doctor doesn't see any amniotic fluid but they're keeping me for observation for another hour to see if any amniotic fluid pools. They don't want to check to see if I'm dilated in case it wasn't my waters because they don't want to jump start labor if it wasn't my water. So pretty much I'm thinking I peed myself. LOL. But hopefully these contractions pick up and it'll be soon.
