Never heard of it. I've never liked watching parenting movies. Idk it's like I just zone them out :/
It's not so much about parenting, but rather about recognizing when you're in too deep and need some help. It talks about how during pregnancy there is so much focus on labor and delivery, but not very much focus on what happens after. It explains what PPD is in laymans terms (during pregnancy your progesterone hormone increases which acts like an endorphin and gives you a 'happy' feeling, but within minutes after giving birth the hormone decreases significantly, and PPD is your bodys way of not coping with the sudden change) it gives you some ideas on managing stress and having a sort of plan for after care just in case you think you will have PPD, and so much more. It's not one of those boring old man narrated documentarys, it has short vlogs from moms experiencing or who have experienced it.
Ahhhh.
Cool beans! I already did the PPD thing with my first baby. It's cool they have that kinda stuff tho for moms who haven't dealt with it whether they're ftms or not
