I am 6 weeks pregnant. Can I eat  fenugreek seeds during pregnancy?

I used fenugreek as a supplement after I had my son, it's supposed to help with breastmilk production. I don't know if it's safe during pregnancy, but if it's ok to take while you're breastfeeding, I don't see why it wouldn't be ok during pregnancy. I would talk to your doctor and see what they say.

I am of an ethnic background and almost every dish we eat contain fenugreek.
My mom gave me a whole list of stuff that I should not eat the moment I told the news I was pregnant and fenugreek was not on that list. I am thinking no..but It must be interesting to know if any body else here have heard otherwise.
