Worried

I am not on birth control so im starting off with that statement. For the past 3 nights ive been nothing but crampy, vomiting, headaches, heart burn, lower back pain, constant mood swings. my doctor says its a virus but i did have sex on jan 24 && im not sure if he got in me, my last to periods were 3 days long and very short and light which is very unusual for me. i took a home pregnancy test and it said no. But i simply have no other idea what it could be. please let me know.

I'm going to agree ^ I would go into the doctors, I could never get a positive at home untill I was about 10weeks, it was horrid.I'm the same I do not trust HPT...

if it comes up as invalid it means there was something wrong with the test or it was done properly so you will have to try again

Having a few symptoms that are related to pregnancy doesn't mean you are pregnant. Symptoms are highly irrelevant in pregnancy as everyone is different; some have symptoms and some don't.

You can retest but if you've had periods and negative tests you're not pregnant.

Actually a pap is normally done if you're 21 and older OR once you become sexually active. I had my first one done when I was 17.

In terms to the OP, it could be a virus, or pregnancy. The best thing to do is wait till your next period and take a test with first morning urine.

At two weeks since sex a home pregnancy test should be accurate so anything from two weeks on should be fine. Take a pregnancy test with first morning urine. If negative than yes you probably just have a virus.  Morning sickness with vomitting does not usually occur until at least six weeks pregnant so it is unlikely that is the cause of your upset tummy

maybe wait a few more days and test again or go to DR and request a pregnancy test to be done!

Thats the only way you will know for sure!!

Good Luck :)

It could be a infection down there he could have given you something. Go to your doc tell him about the sex and ask for blood work to make sure you are not pregnant. Also get a pap best  I can say.
