Ur major blood vessels run down ur back as ur uterus and baby get heavier it can constrict blood flow and hence oxygen and nutrients to ur uterus. Sleep propped up if u cant sleep any other way or I heard one gal slept in a recliner the whole pregnancy and another slept leaned back on her hubs

They say laying flat on your back can decrease the oxygen getting to the baby. I put a rolled up blanket behind me so I'm kind of propped up on my side to increase blood flow and oxygen to baby but it's still some what on my back. I'm 36 wks and that's the only way I've been able to get comfy. I would call and ask your nurse at your ob office just to be safe.
