I was on the depo shot years ago. Was on it for about two years. When I got off it took me 8 months to have my first period. I even tried birth control pills to get my period back and with no luck. Taking the pills to try to get your body regulated again might be an option for you. After I got my period back I tried a round of clomid only to have a missed miscarriage and have to have a d/c and then ended up in hospital for about a month due to different infections. It took me a year and half to finally concieve my second child. For some people depo works great but I myself would never take that stuff again. There are a few herbs that you can try to try to get your period back. I think one of them is feverfew. Might want to look it up been awhile since I took any herbal medication.

In most cases if your not having a period it means your'e not ovulating. I'm not positive this is the case for you but Im sure there is something they can do to get to to ovulate. Why won't they help you for another 3 months?
