Kmommy2b ya I think reading would be good too! I take my dog on walks but I get so bored ahaha. I just need to try new things and see what works for me! Thank you (:
I am as far along as you (13 weeks tomorrow) and i am constantly stressing crying and flipping out for no reason. it is the hormonea because im never like this usually! instead of reading baby books i am reading self meditation and a book called mindful birthing. it really helps me relax and it gives me insightful info. my dad always told me not to be nasty when carrying a baby because your baby can feel your stress anger and emotions. i keep myself busy by making a daily schedule and sticking.with it.. walking or sitting outside when its nice helps. we all go thru it dont worry!
I did yoga before becoming pregnant and it was my way of peace and I stopped because certain things didn't feel right to do so I got worried and was informed to maybe wait till second trimester- which I'm almost there! (Thank goodness).. I really wanna get back into it. But I'm going to take prenatal yoga classes first cause I want to make sure I'm not doing anything harmful to the baby. I just wish the hormones were optional xD my husband always wants to talk but just like- no cause ill say something ill regret later. So frustrating! But thank you kate037! Really appreciate it.
Well my dear, you have already finished the first step! Which is to acknowledge that it's the hormones that make you feel this way. Have you ever tried yoga or pilates or tai chi? Something you can do just for you that will help you achieve inner peace? I really believe hormones are one of the worst part of pregnancy, because you know that is why you over react, but you still can't stop yourself. Maybe when you feel the irritation coming on you can excuse yourself and leave to calm down? Or try writing a journal so that you get things off your mind and you don't explode when you think about everything.
