Lost my mucus plug and this is my second child!

Hello ladies. (: this is mainly for you that have already had more than one child.
So.. Last night I lost my mucus plug and I read that if you have already given birth once then I could go into Labor at any time. How long did it take you to go into labor after you lost your plug? I'm 35wks, 36 this coming Wednesday.. I hope she stays at least until 37wks..

Well passing the mucus plug does mean that your cervix are widening..
I am due November 19th but my doctor doesn't think I will make it that far. I have thought that I was farther along than they say I am.. but I know a lot of people have thought that and it's just in my head. Lol

Yes. After my first I'm pretty familiar with it because I lost hers in pieces. My mid wife told me that the mucus plug doesn't necessarily mean anything.

Are you sure you lost yours and it wasn't just discharge? My midwife said that I will probably go in a couple of days or a week at the most. She said that with your second child women hardly ever go more than 2-3 weeks after they lose the plug.
