he's here!! my labor story
On December 29th i was 9 days overdue and the Dr sent me to the hospital to get ready for induction at 9:30pm. They put in cervadil and let me sleep (i ended up being awake at 3) at 6:30 they started antibiotics and pitocin. After afew hours without anything then 7 hours of a pain reliever that didn't last for more than half an hour along with having been 8cm for about 2 hours and no sleep i opted for an epidural. It was my life saver! After they poked a hole in my water,they realized he'd already pooped in the sac, 2 more hours and my babys heart rate dropping along with my dropping blood pressure They performed an emergency c section (he was just too big for my body!) my baby boy, mason lucas was born on December 30th 2014 at 9:46pm and weighed 9 lbs 4 oz!(a bigger baby than my mother and mother-in-law had and they both had 4 kids apiece including me and my husband) no wonder he didn't wanna come out natural!
