need advice

So im 6weeks and a ftm this is my bf's third. my bf and i have been talking and decided that we dont want anyone else in the room during labor or delivery. This is probably going to turn out to be a big issue, my mom and i have always been really close. But i haven't even told her im prego yet only bc i have had a miscarriage before and dont want everybody all over me and my health right now. Long story short what is the best way to let her know we want this to be our special time alone but not break her heart, she is very sensitive

The best thing to do is talk to her she's your mum and she will understand and even if she gets a little bit upset about she will soon forget about when she sees the baby

i would just wait till you get further along and after you tell people you are pregnant and than talk to her about it when it gets closer

I was the same as @mckee513. I only wanted my mum. Hubby held me down but i just wanted her. She also gave me ice chips rubbed my back was breathing thru contractions with me wiped my forehead constantly i had her there with both my pregnancys  it was very comforting and she respected my wishes to not look at my vajj she stayed by my head the whole time.

All I wanted was mommy lol. My hubby was a rockstar in there but my mom, who I'm not really close with, was who I wanted. I wanted her ice chips and her to wipe my forehead lol. I want them both there again but she did everything the right way for some reason.
