34 Week Prenatal Appt.

Today is my 34 week appt will my doctor check my cervix or will I have to ask her?

I didn't get checked until 37 weeks. I never even heard of anyone ever being dialated that early? Not sure if it's possible but they would probably check if you asked. It's uncomfortable.

I decided to wait. She was way behind & i didn't want to bother her! I have an appt on the 15th. She also stated that I she'll start checking at 36 weeks.

Mine won't check till 36 because it can stimulate labor! Doesn't hurt to ask though.

Typically they wont check until 36-37 weeks. I am checked at every appointment though since i am high risk.
