Any one else? :)

Has anyone else been told that their baby is measuring big and that your stomach is measuring big? I was told today that next time I go in they have to re-check his measurments because from the first time I went in he has been measuring bigger than other babys. The last time he was about double the weight he was supposted to be at. They said when they do the third check up if he's still big then they will re-check a fourth time at 36 weeks and if he's still big that they'll go from their with keeping an eye on him. I'm not worried at all, because I'm okay with having a little chubby baby. But I was wondering if anyone else had this happen and if they went all 40 weeks or had to be induced? :) Thanks!!

They've measured both. The first two times I was tole he was big was with ultra sounds this last time was belly measurment and that's why I have to get aanother measuered ultra sound next time. I just really don't want to be induced. no offence to anyone who does, there' nothing wrong with it. I just want to try and wait and see if my body and baby send me into labor naturally.

How did they measure him? Was it by ultrasound or just belly measurement. With my son on one of my late checkups my belly measured way bigger than what it should have and it had my doctor concerned. She sent me in and he was just in a really weird position with his butt pushing against my belly lol.  I was induced early with two out of my three babies so they wouldn't get too big for me to have vaginally.

My first pregnancy I measured 2 weeks a head from my 20w scan on! I carried my daughter to 40w1d had her naturally and she was 9'7. This pregnancy I only managed to gain half the weight of my first pregnancy but this little girl is measuring 4w bigger then my due date... I am 29w. They said at my 21w ultrasound she was already near 2lbs! So this baby for me will be bigger, however at my next appointment I'm going to ask if I can be induced once I hit term because delivering my 1st at 9'7 was horrific and caused issues for her and me.

When I went in for my anatomy scan at 20 wks my baby was measuring where he was supposed to be or 2 days behind but they estimated that he weighed 1 lb which is about 6oz more then what he should be. When I went for my check up the next my stomach was measuring a little ahead and then the second check up showed the same I have another ultrasound tomorrow.  I was also diagnosed with gestational diabetes.  Im 30 wks how far along are you? Have you had your glucose test yet?
