Transverse baby!!

I am a ftm & 39 weeks tomorrow and my baby is in a transverse position.. I am getting a csection this week on friday .. My question is, can my water still brake ?? & how do I know if I am having contractions ??

My twins were transverse.   My water never did break, and I didn't dilate.  I just felt sick when I went into labor (like the flu).  My contractions got more frequent,  b0amd stronger,  but that is it.

Yes your water can still break...no matter the position the baby is in. Well with the contractions you will experience some pain you have never felt before soo you will know when you feel them i cant explain it. Hope you have a safe delivery.
