circumcision?

Hey ladies.. looking for some advice I am having a boy and the topic of circumcision has arose. I want to get my son circumcised but when u google it says that it causes 100 baby deaths a year. From loss of blood to infection or if it was done incorrectly. I don't know what to do! Any advice would be great! Thanks

I'm getting my son circumcised. I read that ppl who don't may end up doing it later and it will hurt them more later than it will when they are fresh out the womb.

Just as Anniebrooke me and my husband made research about it and spoke to our doctor about it and we have decided not to do circumsicion on our baby. It just scares me the thought of it. But is a very personal decision that you and your partner have to make. Good luck:)

Ditto dndzmommy.  We did our research on the medical websites rather than the chat rooms, and (in our case) did not circumcise.  Reasonable minds differ on this subject, just be sure it is a well-informed decision.

My first son was circumcised and I plan to do the same qith this one. It's a personal choice hunn. Trust your gut. But if you do research be sure to look for websites that say .gov or .edu. to get the most accurate info.

I am getting my sons done. There are always risk with anything you do but the benefits far out weigh the risk. Yes it's scary to think that 100 babies have died if they died from only the result of circumcision & not other complications with it, but you have to think MILLIONS are done every year. Learn proper aftercare & if it's something you choose for your little guy then go for it.
