40+1 membrane sweep update
so after my big pannic and worry about the sweep i had it today and wow was strange getting undressed in there! the actual sweep. . . yes was very uncomfortable but didnt last long and luckily my midwife today was a bubbly lady and explained everything which made me feel alot more comfortable.
basically the midwife or whoever performs it for you sweep their finger around the inside of your cervix to get some horemones moving which CAN kickstart labour for some ladies. doesnt work for everyone but theres no harm trying.

What exactly happens with a membrane sweep? I see people post about it but I've never heard of it lol
