Signs of Labor/Back Labor?

Anyone have any stories on what it feels like? I was induced with my first but and 36 weeks tomorrow and wondering because I've had horrible back pain/nausea for the last several hours, I can't seem to get comfortable and am a tad worried.

I was having contractions in my back for a couple of days a few days ago. All it felt like was one big block of pain that wouldn't go away no matter what I did. It was all in my lower back and there was lots of pressure. So it could be contractions. I had a dr appt and they put me on the monitor and they could see the contractions. I'd give your dr a call and see what they want you to do.

I went into preterm labor at 32 weeks. After 4 days in the hospital I went home an my son had dropped way down, my back hurt so bad. we had a love seat that had the foot rest that came up I would kick one up so there was an arch in the couch I slept like that for 6 weeks. Finally at 38 weeks my water broke. If you have an exercise ball try rolling your hips on that it seemed to help my some

If you arent having contractions theres no cause of concern.Early labor u will have contractions,as u enter into second stage labor which is when baby is lowering through the birth canal ready to see the world, youll experience back labor or what some call butt labor as u get the urge to push. Its a wierd feeling lol shouldnt be what u feel in early labor.Im pregnant with my second and my boy has been tearin me up with the hip pain, back pain.Second pregnancies..your just bigger and heavier lol ***** but hey,iys worth seeing my lil guy in the end.But i am ready for him to come....seriously lol
