please help...labor or no?

Sorry this is so long...Soooo on Monday i had a membrane sweep followed by very very slight spotting (he said thatd be normal) and by 2 i was having decently painful contractions but i could talk and walk through them. The whole day up until i went to bed, i was having them but they were staying inconsistent like sometimes 10 mins apart and sometimes 40 mins till i had another. But no closer than 8 mins apart. So i went to bed. Woke up at 2:30am with painful contractions (a little more pain than the day before) that were between 8 and 12 mins apart until like 6. Then they started being sporatic again like the day before. At 11am i lost my bloody show. At 1:30pm i went for a 2 and half hour walk and that made them a lot more painful to the point where i couldnt talk through them but they were still only at 10 mins apart and not getting any closer. Then at 10pm they just kind of slowed down so i went to bed. Had a few in the night but just went back to sleep. This is my third child and they other two were very easy to know when i was in labor and im very confused at to whats going on...im calling my doctor when they open but i wanted to know if anyone on here knew what this was...doesnt seem like actual labor...im 40 weeks tomorrow. Please help. My body hurts so bad from the contractions.

Doctor said that the membrane sweep cause my uterus to get "irritated" and cause false labor. Thats so frustrating...i didnt even dilate any more...

It could be early labor... Some women can be in early labor for weeks... I was in early labor for 19 hours but my contractions never stopped. Definitely normal but call your doctor as well and maybe get checked just in case (:
