Evening Primorose Oil and Labor Story!

I was 38+3 weeks when I started taking the EPO. I started taking two 100mg by mouth in the morning and two before bed as well as three vaginally. I didn't know how dilated or effaced I was because I had missed my last doctor's appointment due to insurance issues. Anyways I continued the EPO as well as sex daily. On Sat Dec 13 at 38+5 I woke up that morning with mild cramping pains and a lot of pelvic pressure, since they were so mild I went about my day, as the day progressed they got stronger and closer together until at around 7 they really got stronger and closer. I went into ER with contractions 3-5 minutes apart. I was admitted and at around 8:45 they checked me and said I was already 6 cm dilated, contractions were so painful but not unbearable, at around 9:30 the contractions were just extreme and the nurse checked me and was already 10 cm. She said she didn't think I needed the epidural, there was no time for it anyways. The contractions were really bad but I had gotten the epidural with my first and they felt the same! Without an epidural I  just started pushing, within 5 minutes and maybe 3 pushes my baby girl was born. She was 6 pounds 19 in long born at 9:56 pm. No tears! To be honest I say it was the RPO

Nope, the doctor never checked me, but I really recommend the EPO it's natural, won't affect the baby and no side effects!

Do you know how dilated you were before you missed your last appointment?
I had my 40 week appointment today and they checked me. I'm only half a centimeter dilated so willing to try anything at this point.

Sorry I couldn't finish, I believe it was the EPO that helped me get dilated and helped me to not tear at all, I had read stories about it and wanted to try it and I'm glad I did! It was the best birth experience and so far recovery is going great!
