Oh my gosh, I just got the best idea for our little girls nursery!!

I cant wait to get started. Once we get it done, I will take pics and post them. I want to have it done  before she is born, so I am sure we will get started soon. But we have plenty of time. I still have to run it by daddy, but I want to paint the ceiling sky blue with sponged clouds on it. Then I want to two tone the walls, pink on the lower 2/3 of it, and light yellow on the upper to brighten it up. Then at the bottom I want to paint tall colorful flowers with grass growing along the ground. I hope you can picture it the way I want to do it, because it is going to be beautiful when we get done. Oh, and on the yellow part of the walls I want to hot glue butterflies, bumble bees, and dragonflies on the wall. That way they stand off the walls and give our beautiful little girls something with depth to look at instead of just 2 dimensional pictures. Gosh, i cant wait to get started.

Okay, so I am a bit disappointed. When I told my honey about the idea for the nursery, he was all gung ho about it and said we could start it Saturday. Well....we ended up buying paint for the living room instead. Ugh!! Oh well, I will get what is needed for McKenzi's room when the tax money comes in. Ill get everthing I want and need with that. I cant wait. I get to go shopping for more spring and summer clothes to wear, and for stuff for all three of the girls's rooms!!!

I love drawing and painting. I have always been pretty creative when it comes to that kind of stuff, and it is so relaxing and rewarding when done. I cant wait to start. Its nice being able to do this kind of stuff, I have not had the chance for quite some time. :-) It makes it even better, that I ran it by my fiance and he wants to start tomorrow.

thats almost what my 4 year old daughters room looks like. she has a long net that hangs from the ceiling and drapes over the front of the bed.... i put gerbera flowers and butterflies all over the net. she really really LOVES it. i also stuck them all over the walls. her wall is painted a pinkish purple... im gonna change the color eventually.

It all sounds wonderful to me. I only have a two bedroom house so i dont have a nursery to decorate.
