If you have gotten your period than no you were not pregnant. Symptoms are not a good indication of pregnancy as they are the same as PMS and illness. Prenatal vitamins will NOT prevent you from getting sick as they do not increase your immune system. It is important to wash your hands frequently and when you are not able to than use an alcohol based hand sanitizer. Especially after being in public places.

Periods (a real one) would be a negative on pregnancy. It's extremely rare to have them both together. It sounds like you just have a virus. They seem to be rampart lately and everyone is getting sick.
