I've got antibiotics from doctor because I had a water infection but do you think I should take it once a week and and I've got penicillin at home I could take that instead I just want everything to go ok with my baby girl this time
Yes lol but that's how I put it lol I want to see my baby girl again
By your waters went do you mean your water broke?
Just took this test waiting for my results
Not every women have it and it doesnt affect every women don't worry everybody its different but with me I'm different I'm just the unlucky 1 and even I was warned bout it and to keep positive my mom had it aswell her waters went but dont worry aswell long as you no what can happen and the possibilitys that's good just think positive but like I said its rare I hate it when people worry makes me sad and I got swabbed today I'm hoping it goes in 2 weeks time when I get scanned and see my baby girl and I no it comes and goes but I'm hoping for the best this time my waters went at 12 weeks and I had my baby at 23 weeks that was my first but please don't worry ok good luck have faith x
I'm a ftm but I caught that as a newborn due to medical neglegance & it actually has serious effects that develop in the future...talk to your doctor ASAP about wat to expect & how to treat it
I also have the gbs and I've been worrying myself sick over it. I know it's a very slim chance of baby getting it but I still worry I'm 39+2 and just want him out already so I can quit worrying
I got it done today and I'm 36w... if you test positive just means your bodys making to much hormons from what I was told
I had it with my first daughter just got meds n my iv a birth everything was perfect
I am 37 weeks she said i will get penicillin
I was told at 12 weeks that I had it. And I have no problems. My doctor just said that if I get more than 6 braxton hicks in an hour (the painful ones) or my water breaks I need to go in immediately to get the IV antibiotics. But really as long as you have them for 4 hours you will be fine.
My pastors wife had it with both of her pregnancies and one she had the IVs and the second she didn't get to the hospital in time and her baby is a year old and perfectly healthy now, so I wouldn't worry about it too much!
I was tested today and my doctor gave me some background. It's a bacteria normally present in the vagina that causes no harm to us and most babies born. However, 4 or 5 out of 1,000 babies it can cause problems with. They give you antibiotics during labor this lowers the risk to 1 in 1,000 having a problem.
Its not as big as it use to be. Your doctor would of told you when she said you had it. You just need to make sure when u get to labor and delivery they kniw u have it so they can start you on it.
I mean if your 30 something weeks or even in your 20s I was ment to put xx but please don't worry
You'll be fine. As above said you'll get a/bs in a drip. Some women who test positive end up not having it when the have their baby as it comes and goes.
I havent had it.. but if you labor vaginally.. you could pass it to the baby. And it could cause a stillborn. Or they could.be really sick.So your doctor will be checkin up on it.
Its rare that is effects pregnancys have had it and I've got it again if your 20 something weeks I wouldn't worry but even if your less don't worry or stress its affected my pregnancys but its a rare thing but if your worried your doctor will explain and reasure you don't worry hun think positive because that's what I'm doing with my baby x
No. They will just guve you antibiotics in ur iv when u go into labor. No worry
