am i pregnant?

Hi, I have had one faint positive test, from the first urine of the morning, and then 2 negative tests throughout the day following. I am about 4 days overdue for my period, and my breasts have been itchy, I have been feeling a little nausiated by some smells Im used to, and I have been feeling a little sensative towards matters that would not normally bother me.  I took the first response tests, the stick ones not the cup ones, and will try to get in to see the doctor this week, but may not be able to.  Can anyone help with the symptoms and offer some advice?

hi... faint positive is positive.. the hpt gives an accurate result when tested with the first morning urine sample.. over the night there is less water consumption so the concentration of pregnancy hormone is more and can be easily detected.. during the day we take water different beverages  which dilutes the the hormone so it's quite possible to get a negative later anytime.. if still in a dilemma i would suggest wait for 3 more days and again test with the first morning urine sample.. that result shall be 99% accurate... hope this helps..

I just went through the same thing. You can have a false negative but not ffalse positive. if there is a line faint or not that means that you are pregnant. the test dtect the chg level in your body which is produce by prenancy. i would wait a week or more and take another one..

it could be your urine was more diluted with the other 2 tests, first morning urine is usually most concentrated as you've held it all night, but during the day if you drank more then that could be why you got the negatives. if you have had a faint positive then you are pregnant!
