labor??

Hello everyone! My name is Norma and I am 38 weeks with my first child :) im 3 cm dilated as of Wednesday... And im just really feeling a lot of pressure! I don't know what to expect or what labor feels like since this is my first, and I have heard a lot of stories but everyone is different... So im looking for some help from ppl I don't really know..... I'm having a lot of pressure im extremely uncomfortable and im feeling a lot of cramping... I also get a lot of pain in my back every now and then... Help?? Someone please... :(

I asked them to check because I was curious and I was 37 and 6 days... The usually start checking at 38 weeks... So def say something to them... U know ur body... So if u feel u might be coming close and u know u are dilated tell them to check u... It takes two seconds :)

I have had the same thing for a couple weeks now with contractions and BH but I don't know if I'm dialated or not cause my OB didn't check I'm 37+5

It sounds as though you could be in early labour :) I had back pain that slowly moved to my belly and the doctor confirmed they were contractions. Best thing to do is call a doctor and explain, she may have some useful ideas. Take a warm bath to help you relax ir go for a walk :) make sure you start timing the cramps.. see how long they last and how far apart they are. Good luck!! X
