Anybody find out that their little one will have cleft lip/palate? How r u doing?
We were told our baby girl has cleft lip and palate on the left side and we don't really know anyone that has experienced something like this. We are excited to be having a girl since we have a boy already but it's hard to get too excited when you know your baby is going to struggle a little after they are here. Need some uplifting advice or words of encouragement for the difficult road ahead. Thanks!
I have a friend that his daughter was born with cleft lip and palate. I know she had some surgeries and she is now a beautiful teenager super smart and gorgeous cheerleader. Is not easy to accept it we all want perfect babies but it can have a positive outcome.
A cleft palate can be fixed with surgery. I'm sure this is scary for you. But I know a gal who was born with one and has only the thinnest little scar on her lip. It's going to turn out ok and she's going to be the most beautiful little lady! Congratulations! Will be praying for you both. :)
