too much weight gain

Pre pregnancy I was underweight I was never able to get over 100 pounds (usually was always around 92-95) now I'll be 24 weeks on Tuesday and I'm weighting 127 pounds so far. Im all belly, my thighs haven't changed much at all, I don't understand where its all coming from. Thursday is my glucose test and my husband thinks I'm gonna end up being told I have gestational diabetes. Ftm and I'm 19.

I was underweight before I got pregnant and have put on over 60 pounds and I'm 34 weeks :/ to me I'm obviously larger but most people say it looks like I'm all belly. I don't have gb. My midwife was concerned at first but isn't anymore as long as I'm not eattting sticks of butter and drinking milkshakes everyday.

It's your uterus expanding, extra fluid, extra blood, the baby itself... all these thing increase so of course you will gain a lot of weight. I keep having to tell myself that. And as other have said the baby is needing the nutrients.

I gained 56lbs and didn't have gestational diabetes. If your doctor thinks you're fine then you are.

If you were underweight you should gain about 40 pounds... If your doctor isn't concerned I don't think you should be. I was average weight when I got pregnant and I'm at 33 weeks and up to 24 pounds, and all belly.

I passed my glucose test with flying colors. That morning I had 3 hard boiled egg whites and one piece of dry toast and then had my test at 10, try to not eat any extra sugar a few days before the test. (I still ate fruits, but cut out sweets and junk food)

It says in what to expect when your expecting that if your underweight before your pregnant then your supposed to gain more than usual that sounds perfectly normal to me the baby needs the extra nutrients because right now the baby is living off of you and what you intake.
